Travis Japan Releases Their Diverse New Album, ‘VIIsual’

The sensational group Travis Japan has finally dropped their highly anticipated sophomore album, VIIsual. Partnering with Universal Music Japan and Capitol Records, the band also released an electrifying music video for their latest single, "BO$$Y.”

The music video for "BO$$Y" introduces an intriguing opener—a quirky casting call inviting fans (that you could never expect) to become Bosses in an upcoming project. The video bursts with vibrant colors and animated graphics, adding a playful and creative layer to the band's already dynamic presence. Travis Japan’s choreography, known for its precision and energy, takes center stage in this visual spectacle, perfectly complementing the song’s J-pop/hip-hop vibe.

VIIsual, pronounced "Visual," is also a bold statement from Travis Japan, encapsulating the unique synergy of its seven members. The title reflects the band’s fusion of visual and musical artistry, with "VII" symbolizing the seven members who collectively bring an extraordinary artistic vision to life. The album features 13 tracks, each blending a myriad of influences and sonic textures, with each member impressively contributing their own production. From high-energy pop anthems to emotionally charged ballads, VIIsual captures the essence of Travis Japan as a versatile and cohesive group.

In terms of their lead single, the explosive new track "BO$$Y" is a standout among the offerings from VIIsual, which also includes previously released hits like "Crazy Crazy," "Fly Higher," "Sweetest Tune," and "T.G.I. Friday Night." These tracks have highlighted Travis Japan’s diverse sound and mesmerizing choreography, building significant momentum for the band. This energy culminated in their recent world tour, which saw all U.S. dates sell out and concluded triumphantly on October 16 at Sony Hall in New York City. And very soon (in support of the new album), Travis Japan is set to embark on a nationwide arena tour across Japan, with 28 shows in 8 cities.

With impeccable performances, a captivating presence, and a growing international fanbase, it’s extremely evident that this powerhouse group is just getting started. Check out the music video for “BO$$Y” below.
