In an industry brimming with talent, the five-member group Full Circle Boys is working towards developing a distinctive niche while actively reimagining the lively essence of the 90s and early 2000s boy bands.

Their embrace of this vibrant spirit sets them apart from the current selection of groups — with its members coming from extensive dance backgrounds that enable them to deliver captivating performances. Though, in addition to their penchant for crafting seamless visuals, their skillful harmonies further underscore their potential for mainstream success in the pop music scene.

The group’s recent track, "Call My Name," showcases their expansive talents with its infectious blend of pop and R&B elements, making it a playlist must-have. The accompanying music video, with its meticulous choreography and nostalgic noir atmosphere, perfectly captures the song’s energy while highlighting their versatility as next-gen performers.

Having gained traction with their recent releases like “Call My Name,” Full Circle Boys are officially back with another compelling track—the electronic-charged, city-pop-tinted gem, “Me and You.” Now, the talented members of Full Circle Boys are opening up to us about the group’s origins, harmonious sound, and the best aspects of being in a band.

Can you tell us a little bit about your group’s conception and the moment you realized that this was the perfect lineup?

Sean:  Full Circle Boys members all come from the world of dance. We all grew up in dance studios. I was the first to meet with our current management High Road Entertainment, but our band organically formed from friendships created growing up in the dance world. Crafting the group dynamic since 2021 has cemented itself in 2024. Our friendships and collaborations within the group span 10+ years. What separates us from other boy bands is that we have known each other more of our life than we haven’t. 

What would you each say is your biggest contribution to the group?

Dossan: I would say my biggest contribution to the group is just making sure we always stay true to who we are as people and not let outside things influence us too much 

Sean: My biggest contribution to the group is that I am very opinionated. I rarely don't have a well-thought-out opinion to share on important and non-important decisions within the group. 

James: I would say I’m the “mom” of the group. My biggest contribution is I try to offer emotional support, whether it’s lending a listening ear or just being there for the guys in times of need. 

Jagger: I’m dad within our group. I make sure we keep going. Even when we don’t want to do something on a certain day cause we’re not motivated, I make sure we get it done so we make it to our goals.

Ollie: I would say my contribution is that I bring fun youthful energy. I am the youngest in the group, so I bring the fun and energy that we need admist all the work and our schedule being booked up all the time. 

Your recent track “Call My Name” has an addictive Pop/R&B core that really compliments everyone’s vocal skills! How does this song fit into the ‘Full Circle Boys’ sound?

James: Call My Name felt like a natural evolution of our group’s sound.  We love the uptempo sound and rhythm of the track. We feel that “Call My Name” shows we are ready for more complex pop dynamic melodies and harmonies.

Your music video showcases impressive choreography that adds a whole new layer to the track. As trained dancers, how important is the performance aspect when creating a song?

Ollie: Making sure our tracks are danceable and immediately inspire us to create visuals is very important to us as we all came from the world of dance. We strive to put on the most entertaining performance possible both vocally and visually. As the Full Circle Boys, we take sonic inspiration from our favorite true entertainers including Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, and Justin Timberlake.

You’ve been touring with iHeartRadio and have toured with Hollister all while working on music and choreography – so you’re clearly a busy group! How would you describe this current chapter of your career?

Sean: I would describe this current chapter of our career as “our first moments.” with many more to come. We have done so many things for the first time as a group including an international show and trip to the UK, radio shows and radio play, our first headline show, and working with industry-leading creatives such as Tricky Stewart, Jaycen Joshua, Mike Seaberg, and Da Got That Dope. 

Your music has been likened to some of the great boy bands of the 90s and early 00s. Are there groups or artists who have influenced your path as FULL CIRCLE BOYS? 

Jagger: Some groups that are inspiring us right now would be NSYNC & The Backstreet Boys. These groups had such grassroots support by performing and getting in front of new audiences as much as possible. This year that has been our goal. We have performed at schools, community events, radio stations, and performing arts competitions. This has developed us as a group, grown our fanbase, and helped us become better artists on a daily basis.

How do you generally balance your individual personalities with the group's collective

Dossan:  We are always real and true to ourselves and that is the group identity. Staying real and authentic is the only way it works for us. We are always honest and come together with our shared values and different perspectives to find a common ground that works for us collectively.

In closing, what do each of you believe is the best part about being in a boy band

James: I believe the best part about being in a boyband, and this one specifically, is having similar backgrounds and upbringings being that we all were heavily involved with dance and entertainment from a young age. It’s really special being around four boys I can easily relate to and genuinely connect with.   

Sean: The best part of being in a boy band is experiencing the highs and lows of life and this business together. It feels really good being a part of something that is becoming bigger than just the five of us. 

Jagger: The best part of being in a boyband for me is getting to do the two things I’m good at on my favorite place to be, which is the stage. To top everything off, I get to experience it all with four of my favorite people to ever live. 

Dossan: The best part about being in a boy band is the relationship and the immediate access to having a family and friend group at all times. All in all the best part for me is the bond, but also the fact that I’m never bored because we are always busy. 

Ollie: The best part of being in a boy band is being able to be on so many stages in so many cool places and having the opportunity to show the world our love and passion for music and dance.
